If you have many short panels, then you will have more drawings than if you had one long panel. Number of Frames to Preload: Storyboard Pro looks ahead for the number of frames, and checks to see how many drawings are used.Storyboard Pro will determine which, between the two options, has more drawings to preload and use the appropriate option during playback. Select the Preload Drawings option to enhance playback further by loading drawings in memory before you reach them during playback. You may notice a short blink while the drawing loads. If you select this option, then playback will continue and the drawings will load as soon as they are available. When this happens, and this option is deselected, there will be a pause in playback while the frame loads. There are cases in which, during playback, the software may encounter a particularly texture-heavy or complex panel. Select the Asynchronous Drawing Loading option to optimize playback. From the Advanced tab, under the Optimized Playback section, select the Use Optimized Drawings option.Tried shutting down TB and starting again many times.

Nothing seems to work, and these are the same settings as before, when I was having no trouble. Tried everything with my Wacom tablet settings too. I hope someone who’s solved this pen problem can give some advice. Why does it work on a new project but not in the project I want to work in? Am I going to have to open a new project now, every time I want to sketch out a new rough. I tried deleting those elements and continuing to sketch, but still no good. I also have no other applications running. I had four of them pegged together with some minimal motion to test them (they are wheels spinning and bouncing up and down), but that is all. The project only has about seven elements in it, each with only one very simple drawing. It’s only when I do it in my current project that I have this problem. The strange thing is, if I open up a new project and try sketching with the same settings there, I have no problem the brush reaction is back to normal. But when I take the pen off the tablet, doing quick strokes, most of them don’t appear until a few seconds later.

If I keep the pen on the tablet, I can scribble quickly and it’s fine. I have top draw layer off because I’m trying to sketch. I have the brush on max/min settings of 5, with a 0 smooth setting. Now though, it doesn’t matter what the settings are the brush is lagging like crazy. I had this before, but switching the display preferences back and forth between quartz and anti-aliasing seemed to do the trick. I am having trouble all of a sudden with a lagging brush.
